After many months of planning, we are excited to partner with Wells Fargo, Transunion and Fannie Mae to renovate the homes of low-income homeowners right here in Atlanta. And, we are working hard to plan even more projects.
According to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, there are 5.2 million homeowners who live in deteriorating, physically inadequate homes that threaten their wellbeing. Therefore, the demand for Rebuilding Together’s services continues to grow as limited income homeowners, faced with diminishing resources, must choose food and medicine over critical home repairs – choices that, over time, lead to crumbling foundations, dangerously sagging roofs, and windows and doors that can’t be secured for their own safety.
That is why, the entire month of April, Rebuilding Together affiliates all over the U.S. will engage in rebuilds to help low-income homeowners revitalize their homes and neighborhoods. We are excited to help 4 homeowners in Atlanta, Georgia with critical repairs for a lasting impact of safety & wellbeing! This month-long project represents our 26th year of working to keep low-income homeowners in their homes – in a safe, healthy environment.
